Guido Calori
A sculptor, his collaboration with the San Lorenzo Furnaces is especially identifiable in some plastic art in the Lorenzo Berzieri Thermal Establishment in Salsomaggiore, like the bas-reliefs with odalisques at the sides of the entrance, and the chimeras which flank the inscription THERMAE.
Vittorio Giunti
He was one of the founding partners of the Ceramic Art together with Galileo Chini, Giovanni Montelatici and Giovanni Vannuzzi. He abandoned his job as an accountant to dedicate himself completely to the technical management of the company. Following differences of opinion with the management, he left the company in 1901. He founded another manufacturing called Artistic Florentine Ceramic Company, which went bankrupt soon afterwards. In 1927 he was the author for the “Hoepli” editions of an interesting treatise entitled “The Italian Majolica”.
Giovanni Montelatici
He was one of the four founding partners of Ceramic Art. His job in the factory was decorator. Simultaneously he continued his activity in the sector of mosaic art in his workshop in Via Arnolfo, managed artistically by Galileo Chini. Between 1899 and 1900 he resigned from Ceramic Art in order to face up to the commitments of a mosaicist
Giovanni Vannuzzi
He was one of the four founding partners of Ceramic Art. His role in the manufacturing was that of a decorator. Some sketches for plates are attributed to him, in which both the Art Nuoveau influence of French-Belgian origin and suggestions of the visionary world of Füssli and Blake are clearly visible. He left the manufacturing in 1901.
